WHS Giving Tree- Ornaments are available for pick ups from out giving tree in the front office. Please check the ornament out with Ashley. This helps keep organized knowing who took what ornament. Please consider shopping for one of our kids and help the families have an extra special holiday. All gifts are requested to be turned in and unwrapped by December 19th. WHS is very thankful for any and all contributions.

Interested in a free youth Nevada fishing/hunting license? NDOW is offering youth combination fishing/hunting licenses to anyone 12-17 years old at no cost to them , while supplies last. Did you know that kids under 12 do not need a license to fish in Nevada? Call Ashley for more info.

Congratulations to Olive Hamner-Jillson, Sonnet Van Doren, and Sophia Kirkman for earning academic honors from the College Board National Recognition Programs. The criteria for this award includes:
- GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- PSAT/NMSQT or PSAT10 assessment scores that are within the top 10% of assessment takers in each state for each award program or earned a score of 3 or higher on 2 or more AP Exams in 9th and 10th grade.
- Attend school in a rural area or small town.

Middle School Girls Basketball kicks off the season against Lake Tahoe School at 3:30pm on Thursday, September 7th in the small gym. Come out to support the Warriors.
The Warrior Middle and High School Cross Country Teams head to North Tahoe on Friday, September 8th for a meet. We wish them luck!
