The Registration Process
If you are a new student, please contact our registrar for an appointment at 775-588-2446. By law, we will need you to
bring the following documents to your appointment:
- Birth Certificate
- Current Immunization Card (All immunizations must be current)
- Two documents indicating residency, eg: Deed of Trust, rental agreement, copy of utility bill showing physical address
- Social Security
- Both parents ID.
- If student is not living with both parents, we will need a copy of legal documents showing proof of custody.
If student is not living with a parent, then guardianship papers will need to be provided and a Douglas County School District guardianship
form will need to be completed.
- Current transcript and withdrawal grades from students' previous school

Our location in the Sierra Nevada mountain range means that there are weather-related school closures and delays. You'll
find it helpful to become familiar with the procedures in these events
By 6:30am, the determination will be made of a school
opening delay or closure. This information is posted on the main Douglas County School District webpage
, and you will receive
a phone call from our autodailer.
